Its Here, Its Here

I finally got my book, Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a day. This weekend I tried the Challah recipe and it was beautiful and also DELISH!Everybody loved it. Its sooooo good. My Husband said it tasted better than the Ryan's rolls, and that's saying alot for him. We had butter, honey, jam, everything mmmmmmmmmmm.
We stuffed ourselves on bread. The next day I got up and made two more loaves for our family reunion and it was very well received. I have one more loaf to make and I will be making that tomorrow.
I'm still going to make the cinnamon rolls. I can't wait. I have to get a rolling pin first. Plus I have to get more large containers to make all the different doughs in the book. OOOOhhhhh, I'm so excited.

I LOVE this book. My husband loves it too as I have bread baking while he cooks dinner and we have fresh baked bread for dinner. How Great Is That!

beautiful loaves! I made the pizza dough from that book last summer, and now my kids down in Seattle make it all the time. We even used it for pizza on the grill---it's a bit too 'wet' for the grill, so just use a bit more flour when rolling it out to give it more stability. Really good stuff. I also have recently taken up knitting again, and am obsessed as well. I just make hats for the cancer center, but I always have one going and can't stay away from yarn sales. I knit "continental style". My German Mom taught me. The yarn shop lady said " Oh, you can finish things in half the time---you 'pick' and we 'throw'". not so sure about half the time. anyway, it sure helps me relax and sort things out in my head. I found you through PW's site---your 5 words post.

Thanks Agnak! I am really loving this book and the bread. I have to say that knitting is an obsession for me. I'm a thrower, so I am a little slow, but I still love it. I hope you can find the zen quality I have found in my knitting. Thanks for the comment.
